Summary

This apprenticeship position supports the organization’s Vulnerability management program to manage vulnerabilities in the environment and ensure that they are being addressed and remediated in a timely manner.  The focus of this role is to facilitate managing, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities throughout the environment. ​

Specific duties and responsibilities include:  

• ​​Review and analyze outstanding and new vulnerabilities 
• ​Analyze and review vulnerabilities to help determine priorities for remediations
• Coordinate ticket generation and remediation of vulnerabilities with the respective tower leads
• Report and Track remediation and escalate issues with remediation​ 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Have at least one academic year left at community college
• Earn passing grades (of a C or higher) in coursework 
• ​​​​​Basic understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written ​​​​
• Analytical, problem solving and communications skills 
• ​Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., Jira)  
• ​Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment​​​​
