Summary
This apprenticeship position supports the organization’s Vulnerability management program to manage vulnerabilities in the environment and ensure that they are being addressed and remediated in a timely manner. The focus of this role is to facilitate managing, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities throughout the environment.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Review and analyze outstanding and new vulnerabilities
- Analyze and review vulnerabilities to help determine priorities for remediations
- Coordinate ticket generation and remediation of vulnerabilities with the respective tower leads
- Report and Track remediation and escalate issues with remediation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Have at least one academic year left at community college
- Earn passing grades (of a C or higher) in coursework
- Basic understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical, problem solving and communications skills
- Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
