JOB DESCRIPTION
Start your career with a part-time job while you’re earning your associate degree! Apply to be a part of the Allstate Apprenticeship Program, a 12-24-month, fully remote, paid opportunity designed to give you hands-on experience in a career-related field while you are enrolled at City Colleges of Chicago.
Think that working in the insurance field can’t be exciting, rewarding, and challenging? Think again. As an apprentice at Allstate, you’ll contribute to projects and systems that have a real impact on our business while working in a collaborative environment that builds you up and supports long-term growth in your skills and career. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to expand and apply your skills in ways you never thought possible. And you’ll have fun doing it! Join a company of individuals with hopes, plans and passions, all using and developing our talents for good, at work and in life.
Our past apprentices have worked in: Human Resources, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, User Experience, Marketing, Finance, and more. Qualified candidates will get matched with a specific role based on their intended career interest, academic qualifications, and work experience for the full duration of the program.
Learn
Apprentices will spend between 20-30 hours a week engaged in hands-on learning to help build a strong career foundation. We provide flexible scheduling to accommodate your life and school commitments.
Earn
Apprentices will receive a comprehensive total rewards package that includes pay, benefits and programs to help you balance work with the rest of your life. You can choose whatever benefits are most important to you. Plus, you’ll have the option to take advantage of Allstate’s tuition assistance program.
Develop
Allstate partners with a Chicago-based non-profit, One Million Degrees (OMD). OMD hosts monthly virtual mandatory professional development sessions and provides regular check-ins to ensure you’re on track to achieve your academic and career goals. Additionally, all participants are assigned an Allstate mentor to help you network with peers and leaders across the organization.
Apprentices will start mid-July 2026 with the program orientation.
